From Generation to Generation
 If
your children’s workers' team would value
some more in depth training then 'From Generation
to Generation' may be for them.
This is a course that Helen
Proudfoot is happy to adapt to suit your requirements
and time commitment - anything from 1 full day
to several sessions over several weeks.
Sessions can include:-
- Importance of children’s work
- Aims, values and vision statements for your
children’s work
- Qualities of children’s leaders
- Child development physical, emotional, social
and spiritual
- How children learn, implications for our
work.
- Planning a session
- Storytelling techniques
- Creative aids, drama, quizzes, games, music
and craft to help teaching
- Creative prayer
- Creative use of the bible.
- All-age worship
- Pre-school children in the church
- Mid week children’s work, clubs etc
- School’s work
Our children’s team took part in Generation
to Generation over a 6-week period. We found
it extremely helpful and have begun to put many
of the suggestions and ideas into practise.
