‘Past and Present’ Flower Festival, St Thomas Brampton, 6 – 8 October
Open 10am to 6pm and 1pm to 5pm Sunday. Free Admission with refreshments served throughout. The Flower Festival is running in conjunction with a Church Heritage Awareness Programme celebrating the heritage of St Thomas Church and the local community.

Church will be open 11am - 4pm. light refreshments will be served and the church crypt and underpinning will be open.

Visit the bell tower of this historic Grade II listed church and climb the stone steps to see the inner workings of the church clock and the bells in action. You will meet some of the bell ringers and also be able to have a go at the ancient art yourself! The church will be open for visitors to see the famous Burne-Jones window and the oldest monument in the church, a recumbent stone figure of a knight, believed to be Sir John de Darley, owner of the Manor of Darley in the 14th century. Outside in the church yard, visitors can also see the famous 2000 year old yew tree and The Whitworth Graves.
