11 – 12 April 2019 ‘Equipping Christian Leadership in an Age of Science’ - ‘ leaders’ conference [with [with the Science and Religion Forum] St John’s College, Durham University . Registration is at 12.00 on 11th, departure after dinner at 6.00pm on 12th.
This event offers the chance for an immersion in the science-technology informing AI, and the big picture ethical, theological and public policy questions. The aim is to both engage, entertain and inform church leaders who don’t necessarily see themselves as ‘scientists’ and to demonstrate that engagement with cutting edge technology is a necessary precursor to an informed engagement with contemporary culture and the big questions informing society, the media and public policy.
There are a limited number of spaces and these will be offered on a first come first served basis. Accommodation will be provided at St John’s College, and conference fees will be covered. Anyone wishing to book a place please e-mail Clare Towns, PA to David Wilkinson, firstname.lastname@example.org .
