Commissioning Service

Alastair Langton and Sara Brown are planning an event in the Cathedral next year! On Sunday October 21st you will have a chance to bring your group of children and/or young people and take part in some activities before joining in a service of commissioning. This is your chance to get the date in your diary early!

More details will follow next term, but make sure you've booked the afternoon of Oct 21st. We're planning an exciting, challenging and fun event!

Skills Bank

Sara is employed for half of the week, so it would be a tall order for her to reach every parish in the Diocese with their training needs.  With this in mind she's planning to put together a Skills Bank, which will be a list of people across the diocese who have a wealth of experience in a certain area. There is no requirement for perfection(!) just a willingness to spend some tome with leaders from another parish near to yours and pass on some of your expertise. If you feel you could help with the Skills Bank, or if you could benefit from it then please get in touch with Sara.
