Children and Bereavement
Last Updated on Tuesday, 29 November 2011 15:45

I have recently received some reviews of books which have been written to use with children who have experienced bereavement. I have added to this list all the books which we have in the Library at Church House on this subject.
This list is attached to this article.
You also might find this website to be of use if you are working with/supporting any families in this difficult situation.

If you are a Children's Worker you are welcome to attend any of the Training Events which Sara and others are running. However, for many of us getting out in an evening or a weekend is very difficult indeed - maybe because of family or work commitments, maybe because of health or any other reason. So, this page is going to build up resources which are aimed primarily at those who can't get to training events. (Of course those who can come are welcome to use them too!) The idea is that Sara will start to upload sets of activities which are aimed at use with a group of children from about 5 to about 11. The activities can be used at special "one-off" events, or can be incorporated to a regular After School or weekend club.
If you have written a set of activities which has worked well and which you think others might enjoy please email them to Sara and she can include them on the site.
