This certificated course will cover the essential elements of what to do whilst waiting for an ambulance to arrive.  It will cover the aims of First Aid, what to put in a First Aid Kit,  how to deal with an unconscious person, resuscitation, treating burns and bleeding, and what to do if a child suffers from asthma, epilepsy or diabetes.
On satisfactory completion of the course, an Emergency Life Support Certificate will be awarded . This is valid for three years.
